We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.

If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, provided we do not have any other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. statutory tax or commercial retention periods); in the latter case deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

Note on data transfer to the USA
Tools from companies based in the USA are embedded on our website, among others. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transmitted to the U.S. servers of the respective companies. We point out that the USA is not a secure third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. U.S. companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. It therefore cannot be ruled out that U.S. authorities (e.g. intelligence services) will process, evaluate and store your data located on U.S. servers for surveillance purposes on a permanent basis. We have no influence on these processing activities.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in particular cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 1 GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSES OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have a right of complaint to a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint exists regardless of other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, in a commonly used, machine-readable format and to have it transferred to another controller. If you request direct transmission of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection when the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and a lock sign appears in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, deletion and correction
Under the applicable legal provisions, you have at any time the right to receive information free of charge about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, the right to correct or delete this data. For this and other questions concerning personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do so, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally need time to verify this. During the verification period, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request restriction of processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of processing instead of deletion.
- If you have filed an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it is not clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data - apart from their storage - may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for important public interest reasons of the European Union or a member state.
Objection to marketing e-mails
The use of contact details published within the scope of the imprint obligation for the transmission of not expressly requested advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the case of unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam e-mails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our websites use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are deleted automatically after your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or an automatic deletion is performed by your web browser.
In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for handling payment services).
Cookies have different functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or to display advertising.
Cookies that are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions desired by you (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the relevant cookies is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.
If cookies from third-party companies or for analysis purposes are used, we will inform you about this separately within the scope of this privacy policy and, if necessary, request consent.
Cookie consent with Usercentrics
This website uses the cookie consent technology from Usercentrics to obtain your consent for the storage of certain cookies on your device or for the use of certain technologies and to document them in compliance with data protection regulations. The provider of this technology is Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, Website: https://usercentrics.com/de/ (hereinafter "Usercentrics").
When you enter our website, the following personal data are transmitted to Usercentrics:
- Your consent(s) or the revocation of your consent(s)
- Your IP address
- Information about your browser
- Information about your device
- Time of your visit to the website
In addition, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser to be able to assign the consents you have given or their revocation. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to delete it, you delete the Usercentrics cookie yourself or the purpose for storing the data ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
The use of Usercentrics is intended to obtain the legally required consents for the use of certain technologies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR.
Contract for order processing
We have concluded a contract for order processing with Usercentrics. This is a data protection required contract which ensures that Usercentrics processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
A merging of these data with other data sources is not carried out.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose the server log files must be recorded.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass these data on without your consent.
The processing of these data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively processing the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete them, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for the data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after completion of the processing of your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Inquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on these data without your consent.
The data you send to us in contact inquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete them, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for which the data are stored ceases to apply (e.g. after completion of the processing of your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Communication via WhatsApp
For communication with our customers and other third parties, we use, among other services, the instant messaging service WhatsApp. Provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Communication takes place via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from accessing the communication content. However, WhatsApp has access to metadata generated during the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We also point out that WhatsApp states that it shares personal data of its users with its U.S.-based parent company Facebook. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.
The use of WhatsApp is based on the legal basis pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. By giving your consent you agree to the processing of the personal data concerning you, including the processing of your data in the USA. If such consent has been requested, the data processing takes place exclusively on the basis of the consent; this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
The communication contents exchanged between us and on WhatsApp remain with us until you request their deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for the data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after completion of the processing of your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
We have configured our WhatsApp accounts so that there is no automatic data synchronization with the address books on the smartphones in use.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on this website and will be deleted afterwards. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

5. Analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. Provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, dwell time, operating systems used and the origin of the user. These data may be combined by Google into a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their device.
Google Analytics uses technologies that allow the user to be re-identified for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The use of this analytics tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its web offering and its advertising. If the corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser plugin
You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
More information on how user data is handled by Google Analytics can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Order processing
We have concluded a contract for order processing with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics in order to display relevant advertising to website visitors within the Google advertising network. This can generate reports containing statements about age, gender and interests of website visitors. These data come from Google's interest-based advertising as well as visitor data from third parties. These data cannot be assigned to any particular person. You can disable this feature at any time in your Google account's ad settings or generally prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the "Objection to data collection" section.
Storage duration
User- and event-level data stored by Google that are linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) are anonymized or deleted after 14 months. Details can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de

This website uses the technology of intelliAd. Provider is diva-e Products GmbH, Sendlinger Str. 7, 80331 Munich.
The intelliAd technology is used for the demand-driven design and optimization of websites. For this purpose, anonymized usage data is collected and stored in aggregated form. When intelliAd tracking is used, cookies are locally stored. The anonymized usage data and profiles can be used by both the website operator and other intelliAd customers to identify usage interests without allowing conclusions to be drawn about your identity as a website visitor.
The use of intelliAd tracking is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its products. If the corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

The information collected by Matomo about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before storage.
With the help of Matomo we are able to record and analyze data about the use of our website by website visitors. This allows us, among other things, to find out when which page views were made and from which region they originate. We also record various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).
The use of this analytics tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior to optimize both its web offering and its advertising. Bing Ads
The website operator uses Bing Ads. Bing Ads is an online advertising program of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Bing Ads allows us to display ads in search engines or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms (keyword targeting). In addition, targeted ads can be displayed based on user data available at Bing (e.g. location data and interests) (audience targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively by, for example, analyzing which search terms led to the display of our ads and how many ads led to corresponding clicks.
The use of Bing Ads is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its products. If the corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

Bing Remarketing analyzes your user behavior on our website (e.g. clicks on certain products) to classify you into specific advertising target groups and then display appropriate advertising messages to you when you visit other online offerings (remarketing or retargeting).
In addition, ad target groups created with Bing Remarketing can be linked to Bing's cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that were tailored to you on one device (e.g. mobile phone) based on your previous usage and surfing behavior can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
The use of Bing Remarketing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its products. With the help of Bing Conversion Tracking, Bing and we can determine whether the user has performed certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked how often and which products were viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which actions they performed. We do not receive information that could personally identify the user. Bing itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.

Facebook Pixel
This website uses the Facebook pixel for conversion measurement of visitor actions. Provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behavior of website visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. In this way, the effectiveness of Facebook ads can be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures can be optimized.
The collected data is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy. If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you and information that allows us to check that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. No further data or only data on a voluntary basis will be collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the information you requested and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered in the newsletter subscription form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke the consent you have given to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or by the newsletter service provider and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing. Data that has been stored for other purposes remains unaffected.
After unsubscribing from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist are used only for this purpose and are not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
